Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 For Sale is a Gorgeous 2005 Cadillac XLR Hard Top Convertible. We purchased this vehicle certified used from James Wood Cadillac in Denton, TX on November 4, 2008 at which time it had 49,978 miles. Unfortunately, due to some personal issues, we must sell the car. It now has 71,856 miles on it. It is in very good shape. There is some wear on it but overall it looks great. Specifically, there are 2 paint ‘dings’. Photos are attached but one is in the roof above the driver side door and another in the middle of the passenger side door. The center arm rest shows some wear, the floor mats are worn (they are not in the pictures since I am having them cleaned. They can be replaced relatively inexpensively on EBay) and there are some areas on the interior where the seat belt has caused slight rubbing due to flapping in the breeze. The car drives great and I just installed 4 new Pirelli tires at around 71,000 miles. We have had it maintained exclusively at James Wood Cadillac in Denton, TX since we purchased it from them. The car is under a complete bumper to bumper warranty until April 6, 2011 or 100,025 miles whichever occurs first (leaving 6 ½ months or 28,000 miles remaining from now). The hard top raises and lowers by holding a button in the center console. The operation works fine and I have a video showing us putting the top down but it is 10.6 mb so I'd be happy to share it with you if you tell me how to email it. Some of the highlights include: Leather Seats Heated Seats Cooled Seats 6 Disc CD changer DVD Video XM Radio capable HUD Anti-Lock Brakes Driver Airbag Passenger Airbag Side Airbags AC Cruise control with sensor to slow down when traffic in front slows down Power Windows Power Locks Keyless operation (2 FOBs included) Power Seats with memory Automatic transmission with clutchless manual capability 4.6 Liter V-8 engine rated at 320 hp at 6,400 rpm This really is a great car that we hate to part with. Please email if you are seriously considering and would like additional information or pictures. Buyer to pay $2000 deposit within 48 hours and the remainder when pickup. Pickup or delivery is the responsibility or the buyer (doesn’t mean I won’t help, I just can’t promise that). The car is still under lien at a local credit union. Lien amount is significantly less than sales price so clearing the title will not be a problem, it’ll just take a stop at the credit union. On Sep-15-10 at 11:15:46 PDT, seller added the following information:I wanted to comment on the vehicle history that is furnished by EBay. I purchased the vehicle after well after the reported accident. I didn't even know about the accident until last night when it came up on this ad nor do I know the extent of the accident. I do know that it drives like it's new. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, there began a whining sound from the steering. The dealer replaced the power steering pump and a whole litany of steering parts while troubleshooting the sound. They fixed it and we have not had any problems with it since and that has been almost 2 years. That is the only mechanical item we have had it in the shop for. There have been a couple other things like a seat adjustment button that went bad, etc but they have all been covered by warranty. The failed emission listed in the vehicle history was when we had it inspected at the Cadillac dealer for the annual Texas State vehicle inspection. The gas cap was not providing a good seal and was replaced. This car is a daily driver for my wife and I drove it this morning. It's a lot of fun. If you have questions, let me know.On Sep-16-10 at 15:26:25 PDT, seller added the following information:Today we paid off the note and have the title in hand. There is no longer a lien on the car.
