Up for auction here is a 1975 MGB Roadster project car. This car is a 50th Anniversary Californian market MGB the Laycock L.H.Type overdrive. When I brought the car a couple of years ago I was told it was left out in a Arizona junk yard for years so the interior is completely shot, any vinyl or rubber has either turned to dust or become super brittle. The plus side of this extended stay in the desert is that the metal work is in fantastic condition with no structural rust at all. As far as I can see this car has never been welded or had panels replaced or patched, no Bondo anywhere. There are a few dings and dents on the body (see pictures), these were collected during the car's years of storage, nothing major. As can be seen from the pictures the dash is also completely shot, but a replacement 50th anniversary dash comes with the car (as in the pictures), also included with the car (all shown in the pictures); 2 x replacement seats with runners (2 sets) (condition not great); Frame for hood; Steering Cowl; Wheel nut wrench; Smog pump Air filter Spare distributor Misc interior parts Reconditioned radio console Reconditioned center console Replacement Dash Tonneau cover New Battery New clutch master and slave cylinder New water heater valve Never contactless electronic distributor The car has wire wheels and one new tire (the other 3 are shot) and will start up and drive although the brakes don’t work.
