You're looking at a 1976 GMC Sierra Grande "Heavy Half". Basically, it's technically a half-ton truck, but it can haul a lot more load than that. It starts easily, idles smooth, and runs out nicely around town or on the interstate. 350, V8, turbo 350 auto trans, 2wd. Leaks a little oil, about 1 quart every 3 months. Looking under the hood, it looks like new valve covers and gaskets would help. Pulls to one side if you really mash on the brakes. New Edelbrock 4bbl carb a couple years ago. New Thrush glasspack about 6-months ago. It has an exhaust leak at the Y. I patched it with one of those exhaust putty kits from Napa and it held for a while, but now it's leaking again. $600 worth of new tires about a year ago. It's got a lot of rust, particularly around the wheel wells and rockers, but what do you expect after 30+ Wisconsin winters? Super heavy duty rear bumper with tow ball. The title I have from 2006 says the odometer reading is actual. I don't honestly know if it's been all the way around or not. I used this truck for hauling Motorcycles, which the 8' bed made short work of. I'm only selling the truck because I fell into a cheap late model 4x4 and don't have room to keep both.
