1975 Honda CB400F This has been a meticulous time consuming frame up restoration. The Frame and Engine were repainted along with a professional body shop repaint with spot on color match of the fuel tank and side covers with new decals. Many new parts from Honda that were replaced and are very scarce, very expensive, and no longer available from Honda. They include new Honda muffler, complete exhaust header set, seat, handlebars, right handlebar switch, mirrors, hand grips, turn signal stays, side grip, front fender, alternator cover, petcock repair kit, turn signals, fuel cap, pillion step bars, battery strap plus many nuts, bolts, grommets, springs, rubbers, and fasteners. The rear fender and tail light housing were re-chromed by Brown's who specializes in motorcycle parts. They are beautiful. The carbs were cleaned and rebuilt by a 60 yr. old Honda Mechanic. The engine valves, timing chain, points, and timing were all adjusted to factory specs. Other new items consist of battery, tires, tubes, spark plugs, chain, fork seals, oil, and filter. The brake wheel cylinder was rebuilt along with the seal. The brakes work great, has great feel, and has no leaks. The engine starts quickly, has good compression, and pulls strongly without hesitations right up to the 10,000 RPM redline. It is truly a fun bike to ride. I have tried to do a really proud restoration and have even taken pictures with the fuel tank off to show that all the items are in the proper location with the correct wiring harness clips and fasteners. This is the first year of a three year run of the 400F and a bike to really be proud of. I truly believe the mileage to be accurate as the owner I bought it from said it was. It was a running bike when I bought it and very mechanically sound, it just needed a lot of dedication to detail to make it as new. Bike also includes new 400F accurate tool kit per Honda Specs and also has like new owners manual. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will help with the arrangements but will not crate.
