1971 Honda CB350 K3 This 350 has been disassembled down to the frame. The frame was repainted and the engine taken to an old time Honda mechanic who honed the cylinder walls, freshened the valves and valve seats, installed new gaskets, adjusted the valves and timing chain. New points installed. The compression reads 185 psi in each cylinder. The mileage on the bike is actual according to the second owner that I bought it from. The paint is spot on correct 1971 Honda Light Ruby Red done by a professional body shop. The paint is beautiful with no flaws. The seat, gauges, handlebars, side covers, and fenders are all original and in very good condition. The Exhaust is also original and in good condition, however, there is an imperfection in the chrome of the exhaust pipe that looks like an acid stain as shown in the last picture. This bike is really sharp and gets a lot of attention. This restore has many new parts including tach and speedo cables, brake cable, tires, air filters, fuel cap, meter cushions, mirrors, grips, battery strap, right handlebar switch, front turn signals and stems, chain, carb insulators, footpegs, and many more. The inside of the fuel tank was not rusty, but was coated by a professional and carbs were rebuilt by fore-mentioned Honda mechanic. Even before restoration began, this was not a rusty bike. This bike was nice to start out with, but to do it right it had to be completely disassembled and rebuilt with lots of new rubber grommets, new nuts bolts washers and fasteners. This 350 starts quickly, runs and stops as it did new and idles down to a really smooth cadence. Comes with complete original tool kit and a reprinted owners manual. The engine is the original serial # CB350E300846. A considerable amount of time and expense was dedicated to detail and the authenticity of this project. Bike has been relisted due to buyer not picking up the bike and following thru with the sale due to a death in his immediate family. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
