Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is one 1988 CK 3500 Dually Dump Truck. 2WD,Dually,4 speed manual,350 engine with towing cam. Motor was rebuilt 80,000 miles ago. Runs very strong and starts right up.Following has been replaced new 6 months ago, interstate battery, oil temp sensor, plugs, wires, cap ,rotor, hvy duty clutch, muffler, exhaust donuts, new windshield. Dump bed is aprox. 8ft x9ft and in great condition "no rot". Sides on dump are removable. Dump body is a scizor lift and power by electric and works excellent w/ no leaks.Rear end has no leaks and works as if it was new. 4 speed manual 1st gear being low range.Interior not bad at all,one tear on the driver seat, but the floor is solid and has the factory rubber liner on it,dashboard is in tack and look fine, stock radio is not hook up and has a aftermarket stereo install " speakers are poor quality".head liner is held up by 2 door magnets. Equipped with a class three hitch and electric brakes, comes with a electric brake controller. Truck was originally owned by a large company and was used for light duty work. Has been professionally painted years ago by the original owner. Corner of cab needs to be repaired as this is the only rot i can find. Its very common for these vehicles to rust on the cab corners and can be repaired at a low expense. Rocker panels, floor pans, doors, firewall are solid. Truck needs new front brakes and rotors "shakes a little when brakes are applied" Needs one new exhaust donut on passenger side "leaks after new one was installed, squashed from over tightening" needs two tires to pass inspection. One nice feature with this truck is in "88" they came out with two boby styles, this truck has the newer one , same as 89 thru 94 i beleive. I drove it last weekend to side job 45 miles one way thru the mountains to pick up a full load of cut logs. It ran great and climbed the hills good and had no problems at all. Dump body will hold more then 1 cord of split firewood. Reason im selling it is because i work a full time job a mechanist and i no longer have time for the side jobs and im growing out the land i own. I recently purchased a 64 buick skylark and space is becoming an issue. I'm going to regret selling it, but im sure who ever buys it will definately get their moneys worth as this truck is a great money maker. serious inquiries may reach me anytime on my cell at 570 872 6479 after 4pm EST.
