Up for bid is a rare 1990 VW Vanagon GL Adventurewagen. It has a water cooled 2100 4-cyl engine with automatic transmission. It is in very good, mostly original condition. All the original camping equipment is complete and functional. It has a stove, furnace, water system with sink, refrigerator, power inverter, water tanks, water hook-up, status indicator for water tanks, propane tank, and batteries. The back seat folds into a bed, and there is a bed up above. Also has an awning attached to the passenger side. It has an alpine cd changer hooked into the stock stereo, but neither seem to have power. The van is equipped with AC, and although a new compressor was installed, it blew cold for several days, then was no longer cold. The sunroof works and does not seem to leak, but has had some sort of sealer applied to the outside, and looks like a trim ring may be missing inside. All side windows and screens are complete and functional, with curtains. Also has a port-a-potty with a padded cover to match the vans interior. There is a spot on the drivers side where the fiberglass seems to have been patched on the side of the top. (see pics). The van runs and drives very well, the tires are in great shape, and the starting battery is new. There are also 2 batteries under the back seat that power the camping equipment. The VW jack and several spare belts are included. There is no rust on the body and the paint is in good condition. Has one ding below the windshield on the passenger side. (see pics). The odometer shows 118,000 miles, but was replaced around 22,000, so total mileage is around 140,000. The owners manual, as well as a lot of service records are included. All glass is in good condition, but there is one stone chip in the windshield. All lights, wipers, etc function as they should. There is also an aftermarket alarm system installed.
