The vehicle was purchased from an insurance auction and has a previous salvage title history. The vehicle has a Kentucky Clear title but is branded rebuilt vehicle. Up for sale is a 1994 BMW 530 I I purchased this vehicle some time ago from an insurance auction for my daughter. The car had been stolen and recovered.When I purchased the vehicle. the mileage on the vehicle title and car was a little over 90,000. When I licensed the vehicle and obtained a Rebuilt from Salvage title ,,the title came back from the DMV branded NOT ACTUAL MILAGE . The car now has over 4000 more miles on the vehicle and the odemeter works fine .Apparently there was a descrempency in the mileage somewhere in the vehicles past history. The car was purchased at an insurance auction therefore the car has a KY. Rebuilt title ,NOT A SALVAGE TITLE. This car was licensed in Kentucky and should be able to be licensed in any state. After purchasing the vehicle I drove the vehicle home and began to access the damage . The vehicle had very little damage . I preformed routine maintenance on the vehicle and my daughter began to drive the vehicle. This would make someone a great little car with a little work the body is very sound and solid. Not rusted like most I looked at. And has great potential. The interior is in fair shape the leather is still pretty good but the front drivers seat is a little worn .. However.. my daughter was driving the car and the transmission began to slip instead of stopping so we could have maintenance preformed on the car she continued to drive the car .The transmission now slips badly. The car does run in reverse only.... You could drive it home if you only used reverse...... The car will need a Transmission ....... We live in an area where parts for this vehicle are not ready available for this vehicle so the decision was made to sell the car... My loss is your gain ....
