Ok guys and gals, here it is, the ultimate truck for that street rod project youve been wanting. REMEMBER THIS IS A 3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!! This is a 1985 Chevy C-10 2wd short bed truck. This has got to be the most solid original truck on the east coast. There are absolutely NO rust holes in this truck anywhere!! There is heavy surface rust on the hood and tailgate but no holes anywhere on the body. The truck bed looks new except for where the bedliner rubbed the paint off in a few spots. There are NO DENTS in the bed or wheel tubs at all. NO DENTS or rust. The only dent in the whole truck is on the right front fender, I have included a pic of it, and a little on the back of the cab where something slid up and hit it. The paint is extremely thin on the complete truck so thats why it looks so dull in the pics. NO rust whatsoever around the wheel wells, rockers or inside the doors. The inside bottom of the doors looks like new. This truck is unbelieveable guys for its age. The mileage shows 68727 and I am told that is actual but the last person marked the title wrong and I think it may show over limits. An older couple owned this truck for many years and when he passed away it sit in a garage for several years before she passed and then it was sold at an estate auction. The engine is a 305 with an automatic transmission. The only problem I see is the hoses are bypassing the heater core, dont know if it was leaking or what, will check it if I get a chance. It is a scottsdale package so it has a rubber mat in it, manual windows and door locks, but has AC, cruise, am-fm, power steering and brakes and the gauge package. The engine runs good, trans shifts good and the AC works but needs charged more because the compressor kicks on and off quickly. The seat is torn on the drivers side bottom but the rest of it is ok. The floormat looks new and the door panels are in great condition but the dash pad is real bad. The tires have tread but they are dry rotting on the sides. All 4 rally wheels, centercaps, and trim rings are there and in pretty good shape. The exhaust is fair, hear a little leak in it. There are running boards and bedrails and a pushbar on the truck but I plan on taking them off but you can have them with the truck if you want them, I feel they look ugly on this truck. I cant begin to tell you how great the body on this truck is after all these years. The front bumper is very nice, no dents and even still has the rubber spoiler on the bottom of it. The rear is a chrome step bumper with minor surface rust on it that will clean up with a soap pad. Thats about it, did I mention that this is a short bed, v8 auto with ac, all the makings of a great street rod truck. 3 DAY AUCTION!!!!!!! Email me with any questions and I will get back to you asap.
