I Have been an avid car hobbyist all my life...Have spent hours and days at car shows..Have owned many cool cars in my life,but have always wanted to hunt down the one of my dreams! The car no one chopped up,cut up or wrecked or over-restored.I began looking some years ago and have aquired a couple now. This 1967 Gto is a extremely well maintained car. The owner always garaged it.. .admired it.. cared for it. When it had 100,000 miles the motor was rebuilt to factory specs,the clutch replaced...That was 1989. This car was driven some 5000 more miles during the summer in Pa until around 1997.Then it was left in the Garage,started once in awhile that was that! It wasnt taken for inpection or tags since. Here it is for someone to enjoy! I cannot bring myself to alter it.So I will pass it on.Don`t ask the reserve.It`s for real and this is an auction. I will post alot of pictures. Best you have a decent score and realize this is a binding contract For a 1967 GTO Hardtop Mariner Turquoise 400HO Date Correct WS code With Matching Numbers 4 Speed and original 3.55 Posi Traction Rear. PHS Documented and has only 116000 original miles. Manifest Shows Engine Item Number as WT4532 335hp. Somehow it Has a WS4634.(102 engine units later )The order was changed to an HO late in the game or warranty replaced it being a B087 February 8,1967 casting.Car was built March 30,1967.Neither owner believes this engine was changed. No modifications have been done other than the overhaul at 100,000 and new exhausts Gardner correct,and cosmetic work throughout the last 43 Years. It drives superb.Starts right up revs with that awesome sound and Shifts with the Hurst Smoothly.The Trans is tight as is the shifter.The paint is Good shows some normal minor flaws for a car of this age but is pretty amazing when you realize how many years this car has fought time.Floors are solid,Never restored,Door bottoms solid,Trunk Solid,Frame Solid.Looks Great,Very Presentable.Drive as is or have the most solid foundation for an over the top restoration.Chrome is nice.Interior all original.Seats have normal wear. The Custom Spinner Hub caps go with the car.It has JA Rally 2`s on it.The previous owner like them better. It was ziebarted early on in life and features all original sheet metal.Invoiced to Oregon Zone and delivered to Bud Meadows Pontiac in Seattle Washington.Then migrated east spending Summers on those winding roads of Pa.This Gto is a Survivor of Time. Factory 068 cam features.288 duration intake .302 exhaust 212 degrees at .050 itake and 225 At.050 exhaust with 116 lobe seperation. It will run on 93 octane and perform really well. It is all to factory 67 Specs down to the exhaust.On Sep-11-10 at 06:02:02 PDT, seller added the following information: The correct casting number appears on the motor: 9786133.This casting was used on either WT or WS HO for 1967.The date code (in picture) B087 Feb. 8th 1967. It has the HO exhaust manifolds. The front of the block has no vin(I am told in 1967 they had not) WS and item number 4634.
