Up for bid is a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer 4.6 V8. Please read desription carefully and do your homework before bidding. There is no reserve!!! This is a mechanic's special!! This truck does run! Currently the service engine light is on. The transmission light is on. Our mechanic says that the second gear is gone and the tranny will need to be replaced/rebuilt etc. The left rear spring needs replacing which makes the truck lean to the back. The tires are in bad shape so the truck will need to be towed in order to avoid a blowout. The body is in pretty good shape, just a few instances of very small rust marks beginning to form. Truck has third row seat, running boards tape/cd player, fully functional sunroof, leather seats show signs of wear and tear. Truck will not be shipped, purchases must pick-up vehicle, preferably by towing due to condition of tires. All four lug nut covers with the mercury emblem were stolen a few years ago, so they will not be included. Also, there is no spare tire as it was also stolen and the cable holding it up was cut and we did not repair it so it will not hold a spare underneath.
