This is a near perfect 2002 Jaguar Vanden Plas. The car runs, drives, looks, feels new and has NO mechanical or issues that will need attention. I purchased this car about 6 months and 5k miles ago with intentions to keep it, but I am moving out of the country and selling all of my cars. It has new Bridgestone Potenza tires, new tune-up, new headliner (old was just sagging - there are no leaks), new transmission and rear-end fluid, and will be professionally detailed before auction end (sorry for it being a little dirty in the pictures, it is normally detailed once a month). The body has no dents, the paint looks new, the leather has no tears, the carpet has no stains, everything works perfectly and has no rust. Nothing is altered from stock, except for the legal 35% tint. Clean title. It has all of the features available in the Vanden Plas - one touch windows and sunroof, 6 CD Changer with premium sound, all seats heated, tray tables for the rear seat, full size spare, long wheelbase, power front seats, etc. This is one of the best years for the Jaguar becuase the engine and tranmission problems from 2001 and before were fixed, and they still used shocks for the suspension instead of the air suspension that commonly breaks in the 2004 and newer models. This has a solid motor and transmission that has no ticking and shifts smoothly like new. I can not stress that this car has been well maintained and no mechanical issue has been ignored. The only problem that I have found with the car is that the drivers seat heater does not work, but the passenger front and both rear seat heaters work well. In all honesty, this has been my favorite car and I plan to replace it with another 02 or 03 Vanden Plas when I move to Australia. The luxury, ride, performance and creature comforts are far nicer than any mercedes, bmw or rolls royce I have driven. I am familiar with buying and selling cars, as I have had many vehicles.
