You are bidding on a 1997 Mustang Convertible. We purchased this car for our daughter in an effort to get her to quit driving her dad's F-150 so much. It has not worked. The thrill lasted only a few weeks before she decided she liked the new truck better, so we are selling the car rather than let it just sit in the driveway. At some point in this car's history, it has had a salvage title, this shows up on carfax and ebay is making me list it that way, I listed it as clear title and as see decription and they ended the auction saying I misrepresented the title. Title is clear and normal now, I am willing to fax a copy to you to show this and the car is licensed and we are driving it. When we bought the car, the seller was not honest with us(as you can tell by the transmission rebuild and the odometer reading), so we are trying to be as honest as possible with you.. When we purchased the car, we were told by the seller that it had138,000 miles on it. That is what the odometer said when we picked it up and that is what the odometer still says. We have put somewhere around 5,000 miles on the car. We had the transmission professionally rebuilt and it has about about 3,000 miles on it. We have the reciept for that. The car burns no oil between oil changes and the engine seems strong. No issues that we have found at all. Tires on the vehicle are good as are brakes. There is a small dent which you can see a close up of on the passenger side by the front of the door where our daughter hit the hitch on our truck. and the lens for the marker light on the front passenger side is broken. The windshield has a crack in it, but it passed inspection as the crack is one solid line near the top and is not in the field of vision. These are the problems we know of.
