Item being relisted due to a buyer with 0 feedback never responding to winning the auction. If you have less than 5 feedback email me Before bidding! Car now has a NO reserve! This is the ONLY Front-Engined Rear-Wheel-Drive Honda Prelude in the world. It was just featured in Super Street Magazine this July 2010 issue on page 106 and 107. This car took over 3 years to build and no expense was spared in building this car the way it deserved to be done.Although very extreme, this car was made a good street driver. Still has all the creature comforts: Air Conditioning, professionally wired rear-end into braking system to keep fully functional Anti-Lock Brakes, stock steering wheel kept for dual airbags, JDM fog lights, power windows, locks and sunroof, touch screen DVD, and power steering. The car was built with all the best parts to ensure safety - brakes, fuel system, etc. This car gets looks everywhere it goes! The 3" exhaust with HKS muffler sounds great and the waste gate and sequential blow off valve are loud and intimidating when passing. The car is extremely clean, does not have a single dent, and was professionally repainted in burgundy with a black roof. The gas is filled in the trunk with a fuel cell, and the gas door was frenched in so people always stare at the gas station. This car truly has had every detail attended to and is a one-of-a-kind show car built for street use. As the pictures and modification list below will show, this car is ready for the drag strip and for winning prize money at shows while still able to enjoy for a drive to work. Additional pictures are posted online if you follow the below links to photobucket and after watching the videos just click on the link to the album. Below is a list of all of the modifications done. The Prelude can be read about in the magazine, and has had additional upgrades since the article was written. The additions include a new hanger bearing on the drive-shaft; a manual timing belt tensioner installed; the seat bolsters have been color matched to the paint; front brake roll-stop for easy burnouts; battery cables and fuel lines have been re-run to be tucked away; new battery; and it has a new computer basemap to break in the motor. The car has just under 100k miles, but since the 3 year build, it has less than 200 miles on everything (motor, fluids, rear end, brakes, wheels, tires, shocks, paint, battery, seats, stereo system, everything). In essence, you are buying a Prelude with 200 miles on it. For those who have not read this article yet, this is a H22a4 powered (matching #'s motor) that has been fully built and balanced for high boost 20+ psi. It is easily capable of 500+ RWHP. Currently has 300HP on 10psi so the motor can be broken in properly. It uses a treated 5-speed transmission from a CRV and with a beefed up transfer case (that was the weak point on the car), custom drive-shaft and 8.8" rear end. This has become the only Front-Engined Rear-Wheel-Drive Honda Prelude on the planet. It does not look crazy, and was kept to look somewhat stock to avoid police tails, but closer examination shows the custom Tenzo-R 10" wide wheels in the rear, custom fiberglass interior and stereo, beautiful paint, upholstery and everything else to make it ready for shows. Just about everything on this car has been redone or replaced with this build. The vinyl decals on the windows were for the magazine shoot sponsors and can be peeled off with no residue. The car could also be used for drifting, but I have not tried this yet because I'm overly careful about breaking-in motors and don’t want to be too hard on it with it only 200 miles. I did set it up for having fun and drifting/burnouts - has the posi-trac rear end with stiff rear coil-overs and tube-frame, and the build was done for a good drift car. The 8.8 Rear End was wired into the ABS system for better street driving, which would get in the way of extreme drifting, but the e-brake is connected to both left and right rear so you could get it going pretty easily. I purchased this car bone stock from its original owner 6 years ago. Since then, the car has had over $50k in upgrades in order to make a one-of-a-kind RWD Prelude. The car is in mint condition and has a perfect carfax report. Never wrecked, never abused, I am the second owner. I have almost all the receipts corresponding to the upgrades to the car, as well as extra parts and paperwork on engine balancing, etc. Also have photos from start to finish, and a pdf with every part and upgrade with cost associated with the build for any insurance purposes. The car has no mechanical issues and it has shown itself to be great on the road over the past few months (200 miles). I built this to be an everyday driver, but it could easily double as a show or race car. Sold "As Is, Where Is", you should be very happy with this incredible car. I am selling this to finance me going back to school and moving to Australia, so I do not want to trade or get payments - cash speaks the best... Please look at my other auctions as I am selling my other cars. I would love to stay in contact with the buyer of this car, as it has been my passion from start to finish. I will be happy to help with any information at any point down the road for help about the build, and can provide the shop owners' contact information as well if you want to speak with them about any future modifications you would like to do. It currently has no issues I am aware of, but custom cars with this much power can break things and have issues - it has been reliable and a good car to me and has no foreseeable problems, but it is sold as is where is because I can not guarantee something will not break if it is abused. Anything else I have from the build is included to help you out: Touch up paint, OEM computer, all manuals for dvd and stereo system, oem oil pan and engine parts (balance shafts), extra vinyl decals from sponsors, boxes for performance parts, owners handbook, two new balanced and wheels and tires used for one burn-out (magazine), momo seat bottom cushons, extra leather material for matching interior to paint, framed copy of July's Super Street Magazine, etc. Video of boost gauge/tach with idle/rev.
