Vehicle Detail
1978 Ford F250 4x4 snow plow truck Truck with 59,820 original miles. Offered at no reserve My father was the original owner of this truck. He recent signed the title over to me before he pasted away in July. I have both original sets of keys, one set is used the other is brand new and still has the factory key tag. I beleive the engine is a 351modified to 400CID with four barrel carb and dual exhaust. This is the original equipment except for the exhaust, which was put on about two years ago before my dad got sick. I also have a spare Ford 400 out of a 78 Mecury that is available for purchase to the winning bidder for an additional $150.00. This motor has sat for a long time not sure if it is any good our not, but my dad pulled it out of a wreck back in 1980 with only 18,000 miles on it. The truck runs decent, could use a tune-up and it needs a battery. Cosmetically it is about 5 out 10. The bottom of the bed and quarter panel are rusty, but the cab & front end are decent shape. Would make a great work truck or yard truck for not alot of money. The tire are pretty much worn out, os it will need a new set. This truck has the old style split rims Interior is about 6 out of 10, on a worn seat with small tear and small rust hole in the floor board. Other wise interior is in good hsape just needs cleaned. I will accept paypal in advance of pick-up or CASH ONLY at time of pick-up. No checks or money orders please. Please contact me through ebay if you would like to come out and see the truck be sure to put your phone number in your message so i can call you to make arrangements. I got some questions about how the truck runs and if eventhing works correctly. I remind everyone that this is a 32 year old truck and that it has sat for the last few years. I incourage you to make arrangements to come and look at the truck BEFORE bidding. The truck is offered with no reserve so if you bid on it you buy it. 9-7-10: Got the truck running today, fuel pumps works fine, must be some sediment/rust in the gas tanks that has caused some blockage. It ran fine off a 5 gallon gas can with direct line to fuel pump. Also checked the front axle and it is a Dana 44 reverse cut/high pinion with open ball joints.
