With this clone, get the looks and performance of a classic, without the mind-boggling price tag of the original. Titled as an '81, this car was reassembled with original sheet metal from a 1970 Pontiac Trans Am. I have owned quite a few muscle cars in my time, and I have to say this is my favorite. It has the styling of the original second gen F body, the comfort of a late model, and all the power anyone needs for the street. Here are some of the specs: Body -Front and rear clip from NOS 1970 Trans Am -Single Stage Urethane Paint (Deep Red) -Body is VERY clean. No rust known of. Trunk surround, door sills, rockers are all in great shape- none of the normal rust that came with second gen F bodies. -66000 miles on the clock Engine -1970 Pontiac 400 CI engine bored 30 over (405 CI). Rebuilt approximately 3 years ago. -Hi Performance "670" heads from 1967 400. -Stainless Valves -Roller Rockers -Edlebrock Performer RPM Intake (Air Gap) -Demon 850 Carb -Coated Long Tube Headers -100 Amp Alternator -High Torque Mini-Starter -HEI Ignition with Flamethrower Coil -Crower Cam -Forged Pistons -Centerforce Clutch -Billet Flywheel -4 Row Radiator Transmission -5 Speed Manual Transmission -Hurst Billet Shifter (Very Positive Shifts) Rear End -3.73 Posi -10 Bolt Interior -Stock Grey Vinyl Interior -Very Clean -Pioneer 180 Watt CD Player -Power Locks -Power Windows -Tilt Steering Known Issues -This car came originally with cruise control. The system is still in place, but the linkage is not connected to the Demon Carb. -This car originally came with A/C. When the car was rebuilt, the condensor and compressor were not reinstalled. The rest of the system is still in place. I have tried to explain the car to the best of my ability. It is truely an awesome car, and I would be comfortable taking it for a long trip.
