You are bidding on 'Lucy' a 1971 Volkswagen Bus. She means an incredible amount to me and I really want to see her go to a good home. Everything you see in the pictures is included. I am also including new ball joints and arms which are not necessary to have installed I just wanted to eventually change them out at some point, I have the original front bumper (unfinished), a generator, a distributor, a coil, an extra oil pan and windshield washer reservoir and other small misc parts. She has been completely stripped down to the frame and then put back together. All new seals and white upholstery. The interior is completely new and all seats custom made. The cab is done in a solid red oak wood finish and completely covered in Dynomat. The winner will also get a copy of all the receipts for everything on the bus along with pictures of the entire rebuild process. Lots of money spent, and at this price its redicious for me to sell it this low. The bus is mechanically sound, all the routine maintenance has been kept up to date, she's a daily driver and turns heads everywhere I go. I have gone on several trips without any glitches other than flat tires. I live in Baltimore and have been to Colorado and Florida, and a number of east coast beaches in Lucy. I highly recommend coming out and looking at Lucy in person and even taking her out for a ride. Shifts through all gears and reverse. Comfortable ride and extremely fun to drive. There is a little surface rust here and there but NO RUST THROUGH anywhere on this bus. Buyer will be responsible for delivery. Vehicle is in near excellent condition, there are a few nicks in the paint as shown in the photos. One on the drivers side roof and the other on the sliding door. Lucy had her big movie debut in 2009 with the movie "The Box" with Cameron Diaz and James Marsden.
