Up for auction is a 2001 dodge ram 2500 laramie SLT long bed cummins 24 valve automatic.5.9 cummins motor, 2wd. 343000 miles, yes you read that right! but don't be fooled!! purchased last week from original owner, meticulously maintained, you'd swear it had 100k miles on it. all highway miles obviously, not used for hot shot or anything. everything works, a/c is freshly replaced, power windows, locks, cruise. all gauges work properly and no lights stay on in dash. it was bully dog chipped at 100k and has gobs of power and torque. it's crazy. averages 25.7 mpg on the highway. the red paint is still nice, NO RUST, the only damage is right by the passenger back wheelhouse from a blowout long ago, it's not major. the motor is original, the turbo and injector pump were replaced in the last year. the motor has never been apart, the transmission had never been apart, only fluid.filter changes which were meticulously maintained. The windshield does have some cracks on it. It has never been wrecked, salvaged or repaired. it was in a minor fender bender in 2005 only dinging the back bumper. check out the report yourself and compare it to other scores of 2001 dodge trucks! The interior is in great shape for the year, could stand to be cleaned a bit, but the seat only has a minor tear in it. The dash, which prone to cracking on these trucks, is like BRAND NEW! not a crack in it. the only items on the inside needing attention are the sungless clip, and the driver's sunvisor shows wear. the back seat looks new. the center console looks new with no wear, all power on the driver's seat works as it should, lumbar, tilt etc on the power seat. Don't let the mileage scare you this truck runs and drives excellent. new tires in back, fronts are 50% or so. it does have a gooseneck and controller, only used 5 times ever. it's the hideaway version which was $1000 alone. don't miss out on a great truck! I am selling it at no reserve someone is going to get a steal on a truck. i wouldn't hesitate to drive it home anywhere. Thanks for looking and good luck. serious only please.
