This 1961 Ford Econoline pickup is a RARE find indeed. You may remember seeing the 1961 Ford Econoline Van but may not remember seeing the pickup version as there were only around 3,000 Econoline Deluxe Cab pickups manufactured in 1961. As you can imagine with the limited production these are getting very hard to find especially in the kind of BEAUTIFUL condition this one is in !! 1961 was the first year of production for the Econoline Pickup and they tell me its the one to have !! Wherever it goes this Bright Red, five-window, cab-forward pickup draws alot of attention. This is a Dry - Solid Montana - Idaho western truck !! I don't think your going to find much more solid floors than the ones that are on this Beauty. If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come, look at and drive this Econoline for yourself you won't be disappointed !! These unique cab-forward pickups were based on the Falcon platform and were powered by a 144 CID inline "Straight Six" six-cylinder motor bolted up to a three-speed on-the-column manual transmission. This combination works well together and offers excellent fuel economy to boot !! The previous owner claimed that he had the motor professionally rebuilt several years ago and the truck has had minimul use since. Tis truck as an attractive mostly factory interior re-done including NICE black high back front bucket seats, beautiful matching center engine compartment cover, beautiful black carpeting, steel door panels, beautiful matching sun visors, good original dash with factory gauges and controls and a period correct Solid State Am Fm stereo radio with two speakers. This Econoline Pickup is nicely equipped including Electric windshield wipers, good heater, Dual chrome exterior mirrors and a brand new full size spare tire. This Little Econoline Pickup is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This Classic Truck is in good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a clean example of a sought after and hard to find collector truck which is not seen at every stop light for sure. If you have been looking but cannot find a sharp Econoline pickup worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one ! The Red finish on this truck is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with really little to no wear showing and is still bright and shiny and looks GORGEOUS as you can see in the picture above and the 100 ADDITIONAL PICTURES BELOW !! The original steel grill and headlight moldings are all in good condition. Check out the NICE stainless steel Ford Hubcaps with brand new whitewall radial tires tires, including the spare, boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this truck and still retains the period correct nostalgia look !! The custom rolled lower rear valance is a nice touch. This vehicle is in good mechanical condition and it runs and drives well. The vehicle is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression. I looked underneath and there was only some minor surface rust on the undercarriage that you would expect from normal use. I also included 100 photos below some of which show the undercarriage. Again this is a Solid - DRY Montana - Idaho western vehicle and also again In my opinion your not going to find much nicer ORIGINAL floors than the ones on this BEAUTY !! These unique cab-forward pickups were based on the Falcon platform and were powered by a 144 CID inline "Straight Six" six-cylinder motor bolted up to a three-speed on-the-column manual transmission. The previous owner claimed that he had the motor professionally rebuilt several years ago and the truck has had minimul use since. Tis truck as an attractive mostly factory interior re-done including NICE black high back front bucket seats, beautiful matching center engine compartment cover, beautiful black carpeting, steel door panels, beautiful matching sun visors, good original dash with factory gauges and controls and a period correct Solid State Am Fm stereo radio with two speakers. This Little Econoline Pickup is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This Classic Truck is in good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a clean example of a sought after and hard to find collector truck which is not seen at every stop light for sure. The custom rolled lower rear valance is a nice touch. This vehicle is in good mechanical condition and it runs and drives well. The vehicle is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression. I looked underneath and there was only some minor surface rust on the undercarriage that you would expect from normal use. I also included 100 photos below some of which show the undercarriage. Again this is a Solid - DRY Montana - Idaho western vehicle and also again In my opinion your not going to find much nicer ORIGINAL floors than the ones on this BEAUTY !!
