Vehicle Detail
Hi ... up for sale is a very clean and awesome running 2004 Triumph Thruxton. I purchased this bike in fall of last year. It was adult-owned and well-maintained and bone stock. I purchased it as a project bike, and this is what was done to it: it has CR special carbs with billet intake manifolds and K&N air filters. The airbox has been removed and replaced with a British Custom airbox remover kit. The air pump was also removed and blocked off. It has a set of British Custom Predators with a set of Cobra stainless steel exhaust clamps. The rear suspension has a set of Ohlins shocks with Joker Machine billet washers and an alloy chain ring and EK o-ring chain. In the front is a Joker Machine billet sprocket cover. The stock side covers are replaced by MAS Racing number plates. The stock covers are in great condition and are included in the sale. The tail light is a Jammer Products billet tail light with a custom mount fabricated by CARE Facilities Race Cars in Chicago. Also, a polished aluminum fender pan with a 1 inch bead rolled into it. It has many smoked turn signals that were disassembled and the stems were trimmed to size. The stock Triumph boots are on the front. The rear tail lights have boots on them also. There are no 2 and a half inch stems with a wire sticking out. The bike has a Triumph billet front brake reservoir. Beautiful Rizoma rear view mirror and a Champion spark plug for the left mirror block off. This bike has new tires, tubes and rim strips. Front and rear brake pads are new and new wheel seals all around. This is my second Thruxton. This one with the carbs and exhaust is amazing. It runs like a motorcycle should, smooth power, no flat spots, but pulls like a train. The Ohlins shocks make a huge difference compared to stock. It's high performance and Cadillac ride combined. The paint on this bike is beautiful, but it also comes with a brand new taken out of the box for pictures only Triumph custom paint tank, cowl and fly screen. The stock tank has a pingel high flow fuel tap. The fly screen has the mounting hardware and the tank comes with the heat shields. This is some of the nicest paint I've ever seen. Unfortunately I could not get a good picture. The pictures do not do the color justice. A veteran custom paint shop would be proud of this work. The last picture of the cowl is a little blurry but it shows the great colors of the pinstriping and the checkerboarding. All mods and tires, brakes have less than 600 miles on them. If you have any questions, please ask. I've included two youtube videos: a cold start and a hot start. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLe1KP7WQyc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODzkSWCyZSM Thanks for looking ... Tom
