A very rare Mercedes Gelandewagen or G-Wagon. It is a tank. It served it's purpose in keeping my three daughters safe when they were beginner drivers. It was imported in 1985 to Swabian Motors in Tenafly, New Jersey. I am the third owner. I purchased the car in 2002. The truck drives and starts well. This truck is one of the most capable 4 x 4 vehicles ever produced. It does not appear that this truck has ever been taken off road. The 4 wheel drive and rear locking differential all work as expected. Truck exterior has a small amount of rusting under the vehicle. There is a small scratch on the hood of the vehicle. There are no other scratches or dents. The hood cable, fog lights and bulbs were recently replaced. Clutch / Brakes are good. All belts were recently replaced and truck recently had a tune up. Radiator was recently replaced. Truck needs a new exhaust system. Radio, air conditioner, and heat all work. Truck has power windows, tow hitch, roof racks, cd player, factory installed map light, and original first aid kit. Seats are cloth and have surf/beach theme seat covers in the front. There is a small tear on the driver's seat. Original owners manual is included. Paypal deposit of $500 desired 48 hours after end of auction.
