1970 olds 442 455 engine ,turbo 400 trans, 12 bolt posi rearend 3: 91 ratio. engine block is orignal to car but heads are off a 68 442 C heads, car is extremely solid ,floors,trunk,fenders,doors, no rot.rear quarters have very little rust .car has been of the road since 1987and has always been garaged.Paint is cracking and faded,old lacquer paint,vinyl roof is in good shape,car does run,was orginally a 4speed but second owner converted over to auto because he use to race it and said it was faster. when i purchased in 1996 he didnt have any of the 4speed parts.i have a dualgate shifter and console to go with car all 4 ss1 wheels and the 2 racing slicks on car now,but i would not advise driving on this tires ,they are from the early 80s..car would be an easy restore. i reserve the right to end auction early as car is for sale locally,i can assist with shipping if needed ..if any questions please ask thank you.On Aug-23-10 at 13:53:07 PDT, seller added the following information:ram air hood is orginal GM steel frame with screen. fiberglass top.
