Vehicle Detail
1968 Honda CL350 Scrambler motorcycle with 6427 original miles and California blue license plates. Kept in storage for several decades, it is in completely original condition with no recognizable flaws. Fuel system has been cleaned and the motorcycle starts right up and runs well. Ready for daily use. Title was misplaced, so I can either order another title or sell it with a bill of sale. Not much else to say, the pictures speak for themselves. The bike is in amazing original condition, a real survivor classic that can still be useful today. Please email any questions and see additional pictures at the following link: http://picasaweb.google.com/dustycars/1968Honda#On Aug-22-10 at 22:09:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I was mistaken: Some expert bidders pointed out that this is a CL77 305 cc motorcycle. It is apparently fairly rare. I bought the bike along with a nice restored 1969 p1800 volvo. I had assumed from the Honda's condition that it was completely original. But now I am wondering if it was restored at some point. It is exceptionally clean. Thanks again for looking. On Aug-24-10 at 21:32:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I've received a flood of emails from Honda officionados. Let me state for the record that I don't know the history of this particular motorcycle, and I am not a motorcycle enthusiast. I seemed to have stumbled on a rare and valuable Honda, otherwise there would not be so much concern about it. I bought this motorcycle directly out of several decades of storage. It has 1979 registration tags on it. If any modifications or upgrades have ever been done to this Honda CL77, they were probably done before 1979, over thirty years ago. I bought this motorcycle along with a Volvo, and they were both stored longterm in a garage, covered with decades of dust (the mint condition Volvo sold for $15K to someone in Canada). I took plenty of pictures, so please study them closely. Make your own determinations and bid accordingly. I will take the bike to DMV to order a title this week, so it will come with a title. Best Regards, Suburbanstuff
