I've had to relist .. A buyer with 0 feedback hit the buy it now option and later I was contacted by EBay stating that he was suspicious, his contact info was false and they canceled the transaction and his membership... Please If you don't have a PayPal account and aren't willing to comply with details of this listing..DO NOT BID! It's not fair, not only to me, but to the rest of the genuine bidders who are interested in this car...O.K. here it goes again... This is my 1979 Ford Fairmont. I hate to have to sell it, but, my loss is your gain. As you can see there is no engine or tranny. The suspension up front is a complete QA1 kit. Tubular K member, control arms, Coil over struts, and Steeda caster and camber plates. Borgenson steering shaft and a new rack and pinion from an 87 Mustang G.T. also a cobra sway bar..It has 4 wheel disc brakes (5 lug) that are from a 98 mustang G.T. The rear end is a 8.8 posi with 3.27 gears out of a wrecked 98 mustang G.T. with only 32,000 miles on it. It has the quad shock system on it and a antisway bar. Welded in heavy duty subframe connectors. the Wheels are 16" from a 2006 mustang. The paint is in great shape! The brown is a Honda color and the white is an Acura. The interior has new carpeting and covered bucket seats. A Hurst shifter is there, and I'll include the original box that has various linkage setups for non ford tranny's..Three gauges are also there; Oil pressure, water temp and Volts. The gas tank is new and has been sumped. I will include with this car the complete fuel system.AN 8 fuel line to a Fram canister filter to a Edelbrock pro flow pump to a Holly Regulator and a AN6 return line back to the tank. I will also include a custom and balanced drive shaft. I drove the car with a 460 and C-6, so the drive shaft will have that input shaft on it. A complete exhaust system is included as well..A 2&1/2" dual exhaust with an H pipe and flowmaster mufflers. Tailpipes run on both sides of the gas tank and are painted black. The only cosmetic flaw is the hood is slightly Damaged, due to flying off once when I had just put the car together. ( at least i have a stupid gearhead story!) The headliner has recently started to sag. There is some rust on the bottom passenger side door and a Quarter sized rust bubble on the roof. That's it. When I drove this car, (for the short time I was able to), it handled remarkably well. Very straight and extremely tight. This is a great car that you don't see that often anymore and can take a numerous amount different engine and transmission combos. That's all you need, a motor, tranny and cooling system. I'll also include to the winning bidder a complete set of door and trunk seals. N.I.B. There is also an extra set of side window frames. Anything else I have I'll include too.. I have 100% feedback. If you have 0 feedback please send me an e-mail first before you bid. A deposit through PayPal of $500.00 is due within 24 hours. I'll take payment through Paypal, cash, or a cashiers Check. Payment is due 3 days after close of auction. Shipping..you'll have to work that out, but I'll certainly help the driver getting the car on the truck. The fairmont is in a storage unit right now. I have to sell this car so there is NO RESERVE and it is a 5 day auction. I've included a buy it now price of $3500.. which will include a top quality covercraft car cover and a Griffen Aluminum Radiator with a 16" flex a lite electric fan. (this set up kept my big block at 190 degrees in traffic in S. Fla in the summer!) the starting bid is $1500...any Questions, let me know and I will take more pics if you want. Thank you and best of luck! On Aug-17-10 at 10:22:07 PDT, seller added the following information: I've added some more pic's... I realized I didn't have a good shot of the hood. Now you can see it much better, (it's really not that bad, but felt it needed to be pointed out) also the small rust on the roof and bottom of passenger door Thanks for all your interest in this car. Just so you know this car hasn't been washed in over 2 years! It's been garaged. I didn't want to doctor it up, just show you how it looks. The quality of the paint job really stands out! ( i spent over $2,000 on the paint and body work alone). When this car gets washed and detailed It'll really look amazing!
