This is a really nice 1956 Volkswagen dune buggy that has been in indoor storage since 1975. I believe it was built in the late '60s or early '70s. It appears that it was built on the chassis of a 1956 Volkswagen as indicated by the title. I have driven the buggy around my 5 acre yard, and it shifts fine. The brakes will need to be freshened up. The body is in very nice condition, except for one small crack in the rear fender that you can see pictured. The floors in the car are really nice. They do not have bondo or have been patched. It starts right up, but some of the lights would need to be checked over for street use. The windshield is not broken; the chrome rims are in nice condition. It has a recent Wisconsin title in my name. In the state of Wisconsin, it would need to be safety checked before it can be used on the road.
