That’s right … a 2005 VTX 1800R S-3 with only 2162 miles! It’s truly better than new with all the added goodies listed below. Stock VTX 1800 cc (110 cubic inches), Spec 3 trim includes tons of factory chrome as seen in the pictures including chrome front-end package, lots of engine chrome and stock chrome dual shotgun slash-cut exhaust. It’s a beauty. This bike has always been garage-kept (in its own bay) and covered, never ridden in the rain, always waxed, stored in my heated basement in the winter, 3 oil changes in only 2100 miles! Get the picture? It has been pampered and rarely ridden. It has 2 keys, original owner’s manual, service manual and receipts (in a binder) for nearly everything. Now then … This is a monster bike … it’s a wicked ride and it’s not for the beginning rider. This BIG BEEFY cruiser has loads of torque and raw power. It is bigger in nearly every dimension than any H-D (or other) cruiser … but still sits low and handles great! Ride two-up and not even know the passenger is back there. In its stock configuration, it will outrun just about any other big V-Twin cruiser on the road with ease. No, it is not faster than one of those annoying ying-ying sport bikes … but who the hell cares about sport bikes anyway? This is a real motorcycle. Your Harley-riding buddies will get very familiar with your taillight! HARLEY’S ARE NO MATCH FOR THIS MACHINE. This bike runs better than it looks … and it looks AWESOME! The Ultimate seat is exactly that … the ULTIMATE. You can ride this beast all day with little to no fatigue. With 5.3 gallons of fuel and about 40 MPG, you can go as much as 200 miles between fuel stops (single rider) and this seat lets you do it with ease. The Throttle-Meister cruise control is a finely-machined piece of brass and chrome engineering and it works slicker than snot! The overall ride and riding position is so comfortable I have not felt any need to add highway pegs to the beefy cobra highway bar/engine guard. I believe in 100% disclosure and am a very honest seller … so I have to tell you that it has 2 VERY SMALL blemishes which I have tried to capture in the photos: 1) There is a very small paint chip on the very tip of the rear fender. It’s hard to see in the photos and is nearly unnoticeable unless you get on your knees to look for it. A chrome fender tip will cover it completely. I just haven’t gotten around to it. 2) There is a small “ding” in the chrome on one exhaust pipe that is nearly unnoticeable. I didn’t really care as; my plan was to install either Vance & Hines or Cobra pipes next because, although the VTX Exhaust Mod sounds OK … it’s not perfect … and I was aiming for perfect. However, it certainly sounds better than stock and there is no hurry or need to add pipes.
