Up for sale is my 2005 original owner r1200gs BMW with a transferable full bumper to bumper BMW warranty that is good until 2012. The transfer fee is approx. 100.00. The bike has never been crashed or abused and drives as new with meticulous maintenance including valve adjustments every 7500miles, full synthetic mobil 1 oil with filter every 3k miles, mobil 1 gear oil every 5000 in tranny and rear end, the splines in the rear end were just done with moly lube, new tourance tires are 1k miles new, throttle sinc. was done at 15k miles. Bike is well maintained with zero issues. The extras that have been done to the bike are as follows: zard exhaust from the cat back (slip on) with an adult tone which is very nice and almost silent at freeway speeds, cee bailey tall windshield, all 3 bmw variobags common keyed, oil cooler screen, headlight protector, light bar with piaa lights and remote switch done at bmw shop with correct wiring and upgraded bulbs in both lights and headlight, hepco becker crash bars, aux. power for heated vest also done at bmw, bmw gs tank bag, and bmw hand guards with heated grips. This bike has been used exclusively for long trips and the majority of the miles are highway miles. The motor does not smoke, make funny noises, the tranny does not pop out of gear or clunk when shifting, the wheels are perfect with no dents or wobbles, the brakes do not pulse, the abs works as it should. It has the extended warranty but I have never had to use it. The warranty was 1000,00 at time of purchase and IS transferrable, this is a big plus when buying used!
