Two previous owners in the same family. This truck is as original as they get. One of the pictures shows all original owners packet with cassette tape explaining the radio and even the original window sticker. Truck shows 69,259 miles but there is a note in the owners manual packet to add 102,541 to mileage so thats what I did when I titled it with 171,900 miles so obviously the speedo was changed or worked on . Both speedo and odometer work fine. Cummins starts on the first revolution and runs good. Engine is bone stock with no modifications, pump has not been turned up so it is not a speed machine. Engine compartment is all original and super clean with the original tire tools and jack still mounted in the engine compartment. I have only had truck about a month. I was on my way to look at a 1 ton 4x4 when I came across this one just outside Kansas City but now still want a 1 ton 4x4 so this has to go. Original paint is very good and shines nice. Hood and top of cab have been repainted and show no fading. One small dent on nose of driver fender. Has many small scratches and nicks on body that were hard to get in pictures. Rockers and cab corners solid. Bed is solid and had spray in ( or maybe brush in ) bed liner done after a plastic bed liner was removed. Also top of bed rails. I put new Rancho RS5000 shocks and new aggressive tread Goodyear tires on it so they have less than 200 miles. It has all of the LE options such as P/W which work excellant, P/L which work excellant, P/M which work excellant, A/C which works excellant, original stereo radio with cassette which works excellent,P/S and P/B which work excellent and CC which doesn't work I have put 150 miles on the truck trying to figure out the problem but am stumped. Interior is in excellent shape with no dash cracks. Seat is excellent with no tears or repairs. Carpet is excellent. Headliner appears new. Jump seats are excellent and have seat belts. Interior is very impressive. Engine and transmission work good as does the 4x4. Oil pressure and temp are about mid gauge at idle AFTER warmup. Steering is tight and brakes are good.All glass is good. Previous owner told me transmission was just rebuilt in March but had no paperwork, I changed the transmission filter and fluid and it all looked new but I don't know for certain. Original Window sticker lists options as Super LE advantage package...4 Speed Heavy Duty Automatic transmission...Heavy duty suspension , axles and springs.....Heavy Duty gear drive two speed transfer case...Maximum engine cooling....Transmission oil cooler....8510 GVW with 235/85r16 tires which is what I put on it. (The GVW is only 1600 pounds less than my 92 1 ton 2wd). DOES NOT have fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch and never has. Has receiver hitch. Both bumpers are chrome and are excellent. This truck sits high but does not have any after market lift kit on it. It does have running boards. Ground clearance to running boards is 16 inches and to the bottom of the cab is 22 inches. Bottom of front and rear bumpers are 26 inches off ground. Oil and filter just changed and ready to go. If you are a First Generation Dodge Diesel fan this truck is worth looking at. In the picture of the truck bed that is water on the left and right forward part from me washing it and on the right side bed wall that is surface rust from when the bedliner was in it. Yes there is surface rust on the frame.no scaling or flaking or damage or repairs. Yes the tires do make road noise and it seems you can feel every line in the road, the tires only have 15 miles on them , when I got the truck it had smaller non aggressive tires on it and had no road noise and drove/steered excellant. The steering is tight with no play and It has a new drag link. I am not an aggressive tire guy, know noyhing about them and was surprised at the difference, if some of you are familiar with this difference help me out here. The tires that were on it were goodyear wrangler rt/s 255/70r16 with about 60-70% tread. If you buy the truck and would rather have the milder tires I will swap them out..your choice.No I do not have a money back guarantee it is sold AS IS. If it is not as decribed I will make it right. No the truck does not sit lower in the back it is on a slant in my driveway..come on, I live in Colorado there is no flat ground. Any other questions let me know. The exhaust is all stock and in good shape....Yes the 12 valve is noisier than the 24 valve....yes the engine does have some vibration at idle speed. I am NOT a diesel mechanic and don't pretend to be.
