Looking to sell my '93 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd. This Jeep's engine in great running condition, but is primarily for offroad use. It's prone to wobbling at high speeds, so it's not recommended for highway driving (anything over 55-60 MPH). See below for problems, however. This monster has a 6" lift kit, oversize offorad tires, removeable mud flaps, and a flexy suspension. Perfect for rock crawling! I've taken this up the mountain recently, and it handled it like a champ. Front tires are a little worn and will need replacement soon, but rear tires have plenty to tread. Work has been done recently to resolve mechanical issues. Both engine mount brackets were recently replaced, a bad radiator hose was changed, fuel line from gas tank was repaired, the steering damper was upgraded with an aftermarket one, and the tie rods and shocks were tightened. Oil change recently with full synthetic, high mileage oil. Power steering pump may need replcement, due to the previous owner installing an incorrect part, but power steering functions perfectly. What's wrong with it? It doesn't drive. The transfer case is shot and needs to be repaired/replaced, which means the Jeep will need a new transmission. Also, despite adjusting the tie rods, they will need to be replaced, as well as some of the minor suspension components. All in all, the Jeep runs great, but needs a lot of love to get it back to functioning order. Would be a great vehicle as an offroad project car! Vehicle comes with a replacement aluminum axle shaft. One of the axles has already been replaced with a similar shaft, but never got around to swapping out the other one. Also includes a replacement climate control console, due to one of the knobs breaking on the vent controls. When I purchased this vehicle last year, the previous owner had recently replaced the transmission. I've only put 10k on this vehicle since purchasing. This 5.2L V8 engine only has 116k miles on it! It starts without hesitation the first time, every time. Safety and emissions passed with flying colors! Jeep comes with a functioning CB radio, but needs an antenna. Aftermarket Sony XPlod CD deck with iPod input, XM/SIRIUS AND HD RADIO READY! XM radio receiver has been installed in the Jeep and works great! Listen to music while you're crawling! Starting bidding low, due to driving condition. The beginning auction is the price that I was quoted from the scrap yard, but I don't want to see such an excellent vehicle being junked out for parts.
