This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION! High bidder will take this car home! First and foremost, I am not a mechanic, I do not restore cars. I love cars and have owned my fair share. Please ask any and all questions, I promise a speedy response, honesty, and an answer that will be to the best of my understanding and knowledge. Hi I have a 1967 Ford Galaxie 500. I purchased this from an old lady who had it stored in a pole barn for 10 years. She said she had purchased it from the original owner and that the miles are original miles. 85,000 actual miles. The interior of the car, although dusty and uncleaned for 10 years, will tell you that the miles are true. The interior, body, paint, chrome, hubcaps, glass, bumpers are all original. There is no bondo in the car. Yes, there is rust. The rust is isolated to the trunk, the rear quarter panels, along side the bottom of the car and a small amount of the front quarter panels. The door jams are clean with only minor surface rust. The undercarriage looks good. The floor pans seem solid. The interior is in really nice shape, all original, and complete. Very dusty. No cracks in the dash, headliner isn't sagging, visors are in nice shape, rear seat is excellent, front seat has minor tearing in driver seat. All glass is original and crack free. Windows roll up and down very nice. The doors close nice. They aren't sagging. This is a project car, and in my opinion, seems to be straight forward. It is all there and original with exception of the gas tank, drivetrain and brakes. The rear end, motor, and transmission are there. I was told the motor and transmission were original. Both are in the car. The motor is not complete. The lady that I purchased it from told me that her sons at one point in her ownership took it out of the barn and started to restore it. The block and transmission were painted purple. The undercarriage was painted yellow. It looks like some solid time was put into the undercarriage. Again, please ask any and all questions. Thank you.
