Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a very nice 1965 PHS documented real GTO Convertible. Originally a 389 4 barrel with an automatic transmission. It now has a 1970 Pontiac 455 cubic inch code XF 370 horsepower engine with a Tri-Power, and a 4-speed transmission with a console. It has power brakes, power steering, tilt steering, simulated wood steering wheel, rally 1 wheels and red line TA radial tires. The hood scoop is functional. The exterior of the car is painted in what I believe to be the original color of Reef Turquoise. The convertible top and interior are black, making for a beautiful color combination. Mechanically, the car is in very good condition. The engine has been rebuilt and has been driven very little since. The Tri-power is in excellent shape with a recent rebuild. The engine starts right up, doesn't smoke, has no noticeable oil leaks, knocks, or unusual noises, and most of all it has awesome power. The car has Flowmaster exhaust. The 4-speed transmission, clutch, and stock Hurst shifter, all work great with no known problems. The car handles nicely and goes down the road as it should. The exterior of the car is beautiful with a very nice paint job. There are no dents, dings, or chips, that I am aware of. The rear quarter panels have been professionally replaced. The trunk floor and the pan under the rear seat have been previously repaired. The stainless trim and chrome is in very good condition and shine nicely. All glass is in very good condition. The doors open and close properly. The exterior of the car looks great. The power top is in good condition and has many more years of service left. The plastic window is clear. It has a black boot that covers the top when it is down. The interior of the car shows some age, but is still in good shape. There are no rips or tears in the seats or door panels I believe the above description is fair and accurate and I have described the car to the best of my ability, but it is just my own opinion. As with any 45 year old car, the new owner may find some issues that I am not aware of or that I haven't noticed, that they feel needs repair. I make no warranties or guarantees as to the condition of the car and the car is sold as is 918-289-4997
