Up for sale is my Red 2001 Ford SVT Lightning. I'm being generous and dropped the Buy it Now Price by $1,500 and the the reserve down $1,500 as well, and am throwing in a Brand New never used spare 1L3P-CC transmission, which was manufactured in 2004 with all the upgraded parts. This transmission is still in it's original Ford crate and comes with torque converter, and is prefilled. It is easily worth over 2k. Now onto the truck. I am the second owner of this vehicle. I purchased this vehicle from it's original owner in February this year. I recently decided to return to school, and as much as it hurts to sell it, I have to pay for school. The original owner of this truck owned and operated Cruisers Custom HotRods in Ohio where all the work was done on it. I will disclose the original owners name and number to the winning bidder, for he built it into the monster it is today. As you can see from the pictures the vehicle is immaculate inside and out. It has been garage kept it's entire life and has never seen rain or snow. No rust or anything, not even underneath. The exterior is all stock except the bedliner and chrome SVT rims (which are hard to find). The interior is also all stock. The engine on the other hand is far from stock. Professionally built with over $10,000 in parts and services puts this truck at 647 HP AT THE WHEELS. The dyno was done with 21.5 psi. never been smoked in and has been cared for like a child. the oil has been changed every 3000 miles or less with Royal Purple, Only the best for this beast. There aren't too many of these trucks left out there and being in near perfect condition this one is above the rest. You will not find a nicer car/truck with such few miles with this much power. I suggest anyone interested to take it for a test drive, and you will fall in love, I guarantee. It runs flawlessly, is very tame and docile, but really shows it's colors when you step on it. This thing will outrun pretty much anything you come across. Sounds like a Jet engine on take off when you put the peddle to the floor... Such a sweet sound. Carfax will show an accident, the original owner was leaving a hospital when a doctor who was pulling in grazed the bumper. The scratch of course has been professionally repaired. But none the less a police report was filed. Clear title, and is ready for someone else to take good care of it. (Absolutely amazing how these hook up and put in back in your seat) I purchased the premium warranty for these tires, if ANYTHING causes them to go flat, they will be replaced by tires direct and shipped free of charge. -Brand new Boost a Pump (not installed)-Brand new Boost a Spark (not installed) Like I said i'm probably missing a lot of little things, just get a hold of me and i'll fill you on anything. Of course in you know your lightnings you're aware of the 6 disc cd changer, suede/leather seats, power everything, surprisingly good gas mileage for such a beast.
