It is currently owned by a collector. He has an inventory of about a dozen vehicles which we likely will be selling over the next year. I am simply photographing and listing this for him. It is currently being kept in a garage. THIS IS A NEAT VEHICLE – A RETRACTABLE SOFT TOP – THAT GOES INTO THE TRUNK? The car can be driven daily, saved for local parades, or regional shows. The odometer shows 11068, which we believe to be 111,068. We will sell this car as TMU although the title shows it as actual! THIS CAR IS NOT A TRAILER QUEEN. WHAT IT TRULY NEEDS IS A NEW OWNER AND MUCH TLC! If it didn’t need anything, the price would be much higher. This car does have some body filler, and some rough spots in the paint. Like so many, it looks much better from 20 feet. The originally installed 390cu inch V8 has been rebuilt – reportedly about three years ago. It starts easily and runs fine. It does generate the sounds consistent with needing a manifold gasket. It is absent of other leaks, knocks, or unexpected rattles. Having been rebuilt, about the same time as the motor, the automatic transmission shifts as expected. This car runs and drives as expected. Since purchase he has driven this car frequently – mostly in local parades. The cream white exterior is in good condition. The black convertible top is also in good condition. It does have a four inch seam separation, at the window, that will need repair. THE POWER TOP OPERATES – ERRATICALLY. THE OWNER SAYS IT MAY GO UP, BUT THEN COULD MAKE HIM CUSS WHEN HE ATTEMPTS TO RETRACT IT! PLAN TO SPEND SOMETHING TO REPAIR THE SWITCHES, OR THE ELECTRICAL FUNCTION. I HAVE RAISED THE TOP --SEE PHOTOS. WHEN YOU 'PLAY' WITH THE SWITCH, YOU CAN MAKE THE DECK AND TOP OPERATE! As shown by the photographs, there are no dents on the exterior. The chrome is at best good. All glass is clear without blemishes. The pleasingly clean interior is a tan rolled vinyl. It is in excellent shape without tears or rips. The interior is easily the nicest cosmetic part of this car. No air conditioning, unless you drop the top or open the windows and reach cruising speed. The rubber is in very good condition. The tread is 75 to 80%. I have the Virginia title in hand. No hold after up after you purchase this vehicle. This vehicle is fun to talk about and drive!!! This car by my grading is between a C+ or B-. Passing, but not about to win any academic achievement awards.
