I'm selling my used 2001 Mercedes SLK 230 Kompressor. It has approximately 100,500. Most of these miles are highway miles as I used to work a little ways from home. The car drives strong! The tires are a few months old and have plenty of tread left in them. I can send pictures of the tread if needed. One of the tires is not matched to the others as I was hit from the passenger side and so had to have it changed. The damage was only to the front bumper passenger side - this repair has a lifetime warranty that I will pass on to the buyer. The other issue with the car on the body is the paint. The clear coat is chipping as can be noted in the pictures. Chipping is mostly on the hard top in a few areas and the driver side back top panel. Other than that, it is not chipping anywhere else. The car is tinted - 5% so it is really dark but great for Florida sun! Inside the seats are in great used condition. The seats are not power but they are heated - this is amazing for the winter! The wear can be seen in the pictures. The console has paint that is peeling off and/or is scratched. It seems to me like the previous owner or dealer may have tried to paint over the console to make it look new and this has been coming off little by little. You can see the original black underneath what is peeling off. I know you can get someone to redo this but am unsure of how much that could cost. Other than that, inside carpets are clean - I always used a mat. I'm a non-smoker so it doesn't have any odors and no pets. The convertible top works perfectly and I've never had any problems with it ever. It looks awesome with the top down actually! The ac is super cold - never had a problem. The heater works perfectly as well. The radio is working perfect as well and the car does have a 6 cd changer in the trunk that works perfect.
