Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1972 Honda CB500 four that I have been restoring for the last two years, it was a friend of mines dad's bike that he used to commute to work on and has never been laid over, crashed, abused, or modified from stock, here is a list of what has been done: new stainless steel spokes and polished hubs on both wheels, with new tires, tubes, and rubber rim strips, new brake pads front and rear, rebuilt and powder coated front caliper with new black braided brake line kit using stock mounting and hardware, rebuilt master cylinder, new fork seals and gators with 30w motul fork oil, new temkin tapered steering head bearings, new throttle cables, new honda stock grips, new show quality paint and new honda tank emblems (the side panel emblems look as new),new gasket at gas cap, no rust in the tank, serviced wheel bearings front and rear, new points, plugs and condensors with fully rebuilt carbs including sync, new battery, new air cleaner, all valves adjusted, all new honda oem exhaust with new gaskets(1100.00), rebuilt petcock, powdercoated triple trees, rear sprocket cover, kickstand, centerstand, footpegs, pipe hanger brackets, new rk chain and sprockets. The bike shifts and runs as good as new with a really strong smooth motor that doesn't smoke or make funny noises, the bike starts easy but needs time to warm up as all these bikes do, the wheels are true and the bike goes down the road very nice especially with the 30w motul fork oil. The cons are: the guages need to have new faces to match the rest of the bike in my opinion, that said they work fine, the head gasket weeps a little bit which is more of a cosmetic than mechanical problem. In my experience you can go on a 200 mile ride and a small wipe is all thats needed. And lastly the front brake squeaks a little. Any questions call Mark @ 707 333 5762 or mark@napacom.net. I will help load the bike at my house but all shipping is the buyers responsibility and cost. New to e bay with zero feedback please call me first.
