This is a relist auction for a 1972 Buick Skylark with the automatic TH350 3 speed transmission on the column and the Buick 350 motor. The original auction was a few months back but it didn't quite hit the reserve and I didn't bother relisting till now. I bought the car in high school in 2003 and used it as a daily driver for a little less than 2 years. The original idea was to restore it over time but college expenses piled up and savings dwindled resulted in the vehicle being taken off the road for the past several years. Between the transmission and exhaust over 2000 dollars were put into the car. Here are the good details. During my ownership the transmission was professionally rebuilt by AAMCO Transmissions including a new torque converter. Since being rebuilt approximately 1000 miles were put on it. A complete new exhaust system was also installed including chrome headers. Since I've had the car a total of about 2000 miles were put on it. On a side note, I was told the original motor and transmission are in the car but I am uncertain of this. Unfortunately since the car has been kept uncovered for the past 7 years a good deal of body rust has developed. The interior needs a lot of work including a new roof and flooring. The dashboard also needs work as it is cracked and worn. Again, since being parked the car hasn't been started in over 3 years and I am selling the car as is. Overall I would still say this car would be a better candidate for a restoration project than a parts car. As I said, the car can not be driven at this time and would therefor require other transportation arrangements to be made. Thank you for taking a look at my listing.
