Up for sale is our 1984 Westfalia Camper (Wolfsburg Edition) in very good condition and only minor rust. We bought it about a year ago and have added electric door locks/security and replaced the pop-up canvas. She runs well and we're certain the engine has been rebuilt within the last few years - but we do not have any documentation on that. Since we've had her we have probably put less than 300 miles on her. Exterior: Tires are fair and wheels are original. Paint is good - and whoever did it attempted to match the original two-tone. Body is in good condition, no dents. Canvas on the pop-up was replaced a few months ago with the improved 3 window version - it is the excellent heavy-duty, weather resistant tight weave. All lamps work correctly - the camper passes inspection every year. We added a high stop to the rear brake lights. Has a hitch for a small trailer. Electrical: Camper came with the original dual battery system. We have added trickle chargers to both so that both systems charge while plugged in. All interior lights work. Refrigerator works. It has a microwave. It also has a working overhead DVD entertainment system with ports near the rear closet for auxiliary input/output. We added a dual port 110v adapter (our son played his video game system in the camper and needed the power ports). Interior: All upholstery is in good condition. Driver and passenger front seats both swivel correctly. All privacy curtains are in good shape - nothing missing. Original carpet is in good condition - and there are new full carpeting mats that run through the front all the way back to the rear seat. Third seat is in the camper - most people take it out for camping (we did). Engine: Runs strong and does not appear to use oil. Moves well into traffic and keeps up. As we said, we're fairly certain it must have been rebuilt at some point. A/C is not operational - and wasn't when we got it. It looks like it was never put back in after the rebuild but all the parts appear to be there. This is intended for local pickup although we can discuss meeting or possible delivery. If you want to know if she is capable of driving over a long distance: probably - we just have never driven her more 20 miles at any one time.
