This auction is for a 1981 Cheverolet Camaro Z/28. The last year for 2nd Generation body style. This is a 1 owner car. It originated from Carlsbad California. Later in life the owner moved to Virginia then on to Maine. It is a rock solid car to restore. Original 350 V-8 Automatic, PS, PB, AC, Tilt Wheel, Removable glass T-Tops with bags, Tinted Glass (small rock chip on passenger side of windshield), Power windows, limited slip rear axle, Air induction hood, Deluxe Interior, Factory rally wheels. At the moment the AC parts are off the motor but we have them all. Interior is all original but needs a good cleaning. I drove this car home and it handled and performed nicely. The underside is just as clean as the outside. As you can see by the pics, a lot of the paint has worn off due to the California weather. I touched it up with some primer just to keep it from surface rusting. The only rust spots I could find on this car was the lower valance panel under the rear bumper which actually can be repaired or the replacement panel can be bought for $79. You see a lot of these Camaros with rusty body panels but its nice to find one that is all original and solid to work with. Car still has what is left of its original paint and decals. So you are seeing it for what it is. There is an area that was cut out for a newer radio but a replacement section can be bought for around $129 out of a catalog. I am missing the 4 small center caps for the wheels but they are also availble. We also have the Z/28 Door panel emblem for the passenger side. We have a lot of reciepts for the car, partial build sheet, owners manual and books. This is an excellent car to restore, drive it now and fix it up this winter.
