This is one of the most refined endangered species back in the early 90's. The main reason Toyota built a four-wheel drive turbo version of the Celica coupe was to homologate it for world rallying. The plan worked wonderfully with the high horsepower rally cars, known outside the U.S. as GT-Fours, winning the championship three years in a row during the early 1990s. Yes it needs work done to this car such as : NO Gas Tank (which we have all the parts to replace the tank Other Than the Gas Tank Itself) and has NO Air. This Toyota has a raded spot on the hood and rust spots below the door (panel). We purchased this car for our son but my husband loss his job and we are not able to put any money into it at this time so this is why we are selling on e-bay. The man that we purchased the car from put a battery in the car to show us that the engine was running fine. It started with no problem, there was no smoke,it sounded like a good solid car. He also pointed out the faded part of the hood and the rust spots on the panel and needed the tank replaced (rusted). I believe he was honest with everything and this is what I'm trying to do with you. It does have an extra tire that belongs to the car which you will recieve this as well. We are willing to sale this Toyota before the bidding begins on the last day. We have already recieved 736 views on it and alot of questions. We are not trying to get rich from selling on e-bay we just need to get rid of it. The dates that show on the pics are not correct, these are recent pics I had the date wrong on the camara.
