1967 Chevelle SS Tribute For sale is my 1967 chevelle. This car has recently undergone a frame up restoration. I have included a few pictures of the building process and will describe in detail what has been done to the car. The frame on the car was in fantastic condition to begin with so it was blasted and coated with POR-15 epoxy. All front suspension components were replaced including ball joints, tie rods, front and rear springs, all front and rear bushings, shocks, brake lines, gas line, and brakes. The body has new Goodmark rear quarters, trunk lid, hood, fenders, doors, tail light panel, and rear window valance. The body was placed on a rotisserie and the trunk floor and full floor pans and braces were replaced. Needless to say if there was any doubt about rust, I replaced the panel. Countless hours of panel fitting, block sanding and epoxy primer were applied followed by a beautiful shade of red base coat/clear coat paint. I retained as much original chrome as possible and purchased new for the remainder or what was missing (all looks like new). The vinyl top, carpet, seat pads and covers, headliner and inner door panels are all new. The bucket seat frames and console are OEM items. All glass is original except for the new windshield and all function properly. All weatherstriping is new. All tail lights, headlights and turning signals work correctly. The high beam indicator light in dash is burnt out and back-up lights in rear bumper have never been wired however they are there with new lenses. I have never installed a radio or speakers in the car. The engine is actually a 454 with block casting numbers reading 14015445. According to what I have found it is a 78-84 block? It was in the car when I bought it and looked just like it does in the pictures I have included. It runs fantastic, burns no oil, is virtually all stock, excluding the edelbrock 750 cfm carburator, and has HEI ignition. We have driven this car on several long trips and it runs beautifully. The engine has a great exhaust tone from the 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust. I kept the stock exhaust manifolds because they were in good shape and are less prone to leak. The radiator is new and to help with cooling I installed dual electric fans. The car has power steering and power front disc brakes and drums on the rear. The transmission is a 4-speed Muncie however it is not a fine spline. It does shift smoothly and operate flawlessly with the Hurst shifter and new 12" clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. The rearend is a 10 bolt 3.08 non-posi. The car has 15 inch rally wheels and new tires. I painted the wheels black for a different look but recently repainted them to the factory gray color. That is why in some of the pictures the car has black wheels and gray wheels. This is a beautiful vehicle and can be driven anywhere.
