Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1969 Honda CB750 K0. Built in 10/69, it has always been titled as a 1970. Chassis #CB750-1009353, Engine #CB750E-1009331 (just after the last sand cast models). The bike was purchased from its original owner in 1972, and has been in the family ever since (great history available). Any damages to the bike are minimal, (mostly minor dings or dents to the tank and side covers from regular use), and the broken top cooling fin on the right side head is from 1972. All are relatively easy to repair, but I have strived to keep this original and untouched as much as possible. The original speedometer and tachometer are on the bike, but the gauge faces (original acrylic) have been replaced with glass. The color on the bike is the original color but has been repainted with new decals, stripes, and emblems. (If I were to keep this bike I would have it professionally repainted). The only non-original parts that I am aware of are the chain guard, seat and rubber shock boots. I think the exhaust was originally the HM300, but was changed by the original owner to the HM341. Except for obvious parts (i.e. chain, oil filter, tires and tubes) this is a 99% original CB750. It comes with the original owner’s manual, extra oil filters, and any other spares I have for it. It even has the original Honda tool kit under the seat. The bike starts and runs great as regular maintenance has been religiously performed over the years. What you see is the result of almost 40 years of care. It is not perfect, but an excellent example of a well cared for, timeless classic. Please email questions, etc. to me and I will replay asap. Bidding starts at $3500.00 with NO RESERVE. It is a great deal on a classic bike! Buyer must arrange for pickup / shipping from the Central Florida area.
