1988 944 Turbo S –Silver Rose Package – Silver Rose Metallic Paint and Burgundy Plaid Interior - 67k Original Miles - 3rd owner (only the 2nd on the carfax) The Turbo S package includes: forged wheels, koni adjustable suspension, s4 brakes, larger turbo, reinforced front strut towers, LSD, transmission cooler, ABS brakes, Rolled Fenders, Limited Edition Interior... and a few other goodies. This is a very nice 944 Turbo. It has 67k original miles and drives very well. The paint is mostly original and shows some signs of age, but still looks great (at 10 feet it looks amazing). There are very few, if any, dings/dents in the car. The interior shows typical signs of 944 wear such as dash cracks, steering wheel stitching, drivers bolster wear. The engine runs great, the transmission shifts perfect. The car has a test pipe and cat back stainless steel exhuast with a borla muffler. It sounds great. Other than that, the other other modifications are a boost enhancer and a fuel pressure gauge. The wheels are straight and there are no bumps or vibrations. The passenger side front fender was painted at some point, other than that the car appears to be original paint. I see no evidence of the fender panel being removed or any evidence that the car was in a wreck. The stock airbox has been removed and replaced with a cone style air filter. The car is clean overall and there is alot of evidence of the low miles. I have records of both previous owners, although I have not contacted them. I purchased the car in April from a car dealer in New Jersey. They told me the timing belt and water pump was replaced in January 2010. My mechanic said the belts look new, but the pump does not look like it was replaced. I have a receipt that says it was. That is all I know. Recent Work: - New tires and front end alignment - Fresh Mobil 1 in Engine and Transaxle - Newly rebuilt ball joints and new tie rod ends - Stainless catback exhaust and cat bypass (test) pipe (sounds great!) - new turbo water pump (old one was leaking but working) - new belts The a/c is not cold, but not hot. There is a small power steering leak (garage floor is dry). The paint is 22 years old and is not perfect. There is wear on the drivers seat bolster, there are dashboard cracks and the stitching in wheel has come out. The rear wiper does not work and the radio does not work. I am selling the car due to financial reasons. I have disclosed everything I know about the vehicle and there are no known issues other than what is above. The car is sold as is and as with any 22 year old car, there could be other issues I haven't found or don't know about.
