Vehicle Detail

AWESOME Porsche 911 SC Carrera 1980 Whale Tail REDUCED RESERVE- I LOVE THIS CAR But, I really need to pay for my Airplane- I am re-listing, a local buyer sounded good but, couldn't come up with the money in time. So--HERE WE GO!!!!!!! Porsche stands alone, as a unique sports car company. The 911SC stands alone, as one of their BEST. THIS 911SC stands alone as one of the finest examples that you will find at a very affordable price. This car has history in Germany till 1996, then exported by the owner to Virginia. Then has some recent Florida history. EXTREMELY SOLID car, all southern states history and runs perfectly and STRONG. The Body is in awesome condition (look closely at the pics) -just great! It has an older re-paint of the original "Dolphin Grey" color. To me, it is almost a better testimony that this is an "older" re-paint. Because, IT IS SO, SO GREAT! Obviously done very well and always cared for. As you can see, nothing "custom" here- ALL original. Great Wheels- No road rash. The Engine is the 3.0 liter Six that my mechanic says runs stronger and responds faster than any Porsche that he has ever driven. I have taken this car on a 1,500 mile trip with absolutely no issues- I would drive this car anywhere. Simply, the most dependable fun car one can own! No smoking, No leaks. The Interior is also in wonderful condition. As you can see by the photos, a couple of non-original elements are the, vintage correct, "Momo" steering wheel and the Recaro Racing Seats. I tell you, these seats are wonderfully supportive and VERY comfortable. Way better than the originals. All gauges, lights work as they should. The radio is not getting power, at the moment. But, I’m going to look into that (I, personally, would rather listen to the engine anyway). Also, there are no speakers in the doors, only the grills. Drives Great,as if it’s on rails, as stable as can be, very responsive, no strange noises– Just, a JOY to drive. Why Would I Sell a car that is just the most fun car to drive that I have ever owned?----- I bought an airplane and to fund that new endeavor, some things have to go. I’ve already sold a 1963 VW Bug and a 1963 Wooden Boat– one more thing to go and unfortunately it has to be this terrific car. NADA Guides puts a "Low Retail" number on this car of $ 16,400 to "Average Retail" of $ 18,600 on up to $ 24,900. Well this car is WAY, WAY, WAY better than average. But, the reserve is a lot less. Also pictured is the included custom car cover. SEE THE VIDEO at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNfsJxu_TUo I have this car marketed locally. So, I do reserve the right to end this auction early.
