Vehicle Detail
2004 Suzuki Z250 QuadSport ATV Adult owned since January 2005 Bought as Dealer Demo NO RESERVE!!! Background In late 2004, I started to look for a reasonably priced four wheeler to replace the '86 Suzuki 230 QuadSport I had owned back in the early 1990's. In January 2005 and having had great luck with my previous Suzuki, I purchased this '04 QuadSport as a dealer demo unit. It was a family run dealership, and one of the kids had been riding it. So officially that makes me the original owner, as the vehicle was not titled until my purchase (I have a clear PA title in my name) . I used the atv primarily for trail riding with a buddy of mine in central PA. 2 or 3 times a year we would head up for a weekend. I never put it in deep water or mud, and always cleaned it thoroughly after each ride. Condition First off, the atv is 100% original. NO modifications have been done to the bike. Even the tires are original. What this means is this bike is as dependable as one would expect of a brand new Suzuki. It has never given me even one problem, never burned a drop of oil, nothing. Tap the start button and it fires instantly. NO smoke, NO leaks, and NO unusual engine noises. Everything works as it should, including all lights, choke, transmission, brakes, etc. Buy it and drive it. It has electric start which operates perfectly. I have two keys for the four wheeler. ATV is a 4 stroke, so no mixing of fuel. The 5 speed transmission is tight (it is a "clutchless" manual meaning it has an auto clutch, all you do is shift). There is no slippage, and works perfectly. Reverse is very easy to engage (put it in neutral, twist a knob, and shift down). Bike is shaft drive, so no chain to have to adjust. Oil gets changed every year at least (sooner, if use dictates earlier changes). Always used Suzuki oil filters and quality synthetic oil. Seat is perfect. I have always stored it in a weather tight shed or garage since I bought it. There are no cracks in the fenders or plastic with one exception. When I bought it, the rear bumper was bent (can be seen in picture). That bend caused the rear fender mount to break on the right side at the very back of atv (ONLY the mount broke, the fender is not cracked). It does not affect the atv at all, and the fender is still held tight in place even without that one mount. It is only visible by looking under the fender. The tires are all original, with the fronts probably having 80-90% tread, and rears probably having 60-70% tread left (see pics). Tires all hold air, although rears may have a plug or two in them. There are scuffs and scratches from trail riding. Bike has been used, but NOT abused. Why sell it? Only reason I am selling it is a lack of use. I have two young kids (9 and 2 yrs old), so I bought a utility bike with a rear seat to ride them around. My plan was to use the utility bike with the kids, and then blast around on the Z250 when I was alone. The kids love riding around, so I find that I am very rarely "alone". I have ridden this atv maybe three times all year so far, and that was basically just because I wanted to start it up to keep the battery charged and everything working. So due to the lack of use, I have decided to let my sport bike go. If it doesn't sell, my 9 year old will be riding it in a few years. It is a little too much bike for him right now, or I would keep it. Terms This atv is used, and therefore has wear indicative of use. There are scratches in the plastic parts, scuffs on the "bumpers" and wheels, etc. If you want a perfect bike, buy a new one for two or three times as much money. Of course the first time you ride it, it won't be perfect anymore. I know buying something on ebay sight unseen can be uncomfortable, and that is why I spent as much time as I did writing this description and taking quality pictures. But if you still aren’t comfortable with my description and pictures, ask questions. Or come see it for yourself. But if you win the auction, I expect you to buy the atv and meet the terms of the auction. Have your money ready before you bid. You are not bidding to come look at it. You are bidding to buy it, and entering a binding contract when you bid per eBay policies. Obviously, I am selling it AS IS. I guarantee clear PA title. A $100 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction ending via paypal. The remainder of the price must be paid within 10 days. I will NOT accept Paypal to pay the balance. I will only accept cashier’s checks, or personal checks drawn on US banks. I will also accept cash in person. ALL monies must CLEAR MY BANK before I will release the title or the atv. NO EXCEPTIONS. That means if you want to pay me when you pick it up, it has to be cash. Checks (bank or personal) would have to be deposited in my bank and clear before I will release the bike or title. I hate to be hard nosed about this, but I have seen too many people get burned by dishonest bidders and seen too many scams. US bidders only, please. I do not offer shipping on this atv. I would strongly prefer pickup. If you want it shipped, you are responsible for all fees, crating, scheduling, and delivery.
