OK Friends and Foes - this car is re-listed. I say Foes because certain foreign bidders are giving ebay a really bad name. They read the plain English - perhaps the problem- win and then want to strike their own deal and refuse to honor their winning bid. Let's be clear - the pictures, description, pick up info and payment info make up the entire deal. The winning bidder agrees to these terms and must act accordingly. Although I confess the time wasters are winning out here. Ebay should do something but they won't. Sorry, but had to get this off my chest. This car has been sitting for a number of years because of a bad fuel pump. I installed a new fuel pump ( the owner had put in fresh gas) and the car started right up. These are tough motors - no smoke either! It will need a major tune-up - New Roadster Factory tune up parts, oil filter, etc included. Cosmetically the car is challenged as you can see. The seats are in good order but the rest of the interior will need attention. The chrome is fair and serviceable as you can see. The top is also serviceable but rear plastic will need to be replaced. It has an unused tonneau cover. The solid wheels will need new tires. The reason I bought the car is because it is rock solid in all the right places - see picturers. There is no problem with the frame - the notorious spot where the aluminum trailing arms mount is solid! The body panels are all solid - fenders, sills, floor, trunk, etc. The only exception - see picture is driver's side footwell - small hole inartfully patched with silicon and a piece of thin sheet metal. This "soft spot" was cause by wet carpet insulation that festered. I forgot to take pics of engine bay and trunk. Not trying to play games or hide any thing just stupid and forgot - no surprises - check my feedback. Trunk is very clean and even has a recently cleaned and sealed fuel tank. The engine bay is what you would expect to find under the hood. I can't promise more pictures as the car is not near me. The hydraulics will need to be done. This is a solid car -worthy of restoration and will not be money pit as these rare cars tend to hold their value in the Triumph world. I was going to clean, fix hydraulics, tune up, new rubber and hoses (btw there are two original bumble bee hoses!!!! ) and drive ugly for this season. This can easily be done. Give this one a good home and for you Pro's out there there is room for profit. Good luck and thanks.
