Up for auction is a rare 2002 Pontiac Firebird convertible. This classic sports car will certainly turn heads and get you noticed. It features the following: 3.8 L V6 Engine (91,000 miles) Well maintained, and never in an accident. Automatic Transmission Black Leather Interior Original Pewter Metallic Paint Ice Cold A/C New Fuel pump Tires replaced 2 years ago Power Driver Seat Alarm with security ignition key 12 Disc CD Changer The car runs great. The V6 engine boasts a powerful 205 HP while still being economical on gas. It still looks great but has some minor cosmetic issues. Some of the body molding is a bit loose and need to be refastened; in addition there is a small crack in the passenger side molding. The tires were replaced two years ago and still have good tread on them. The rims are starting to show their age with some minor chipping and corrosion on the chrome plating, this is only cosmetic, and they still function fine. The power convertible top looks good, and operates fine (see video). There is a problem with the driver side mirror and window motor, both will need to be fixed or replaced as the power window and mirror currently dont function properly. The passenger side mirror itself is missing. The leather driver & passenger seat are in good shape. The passenger rear seat suffered a bit of damage from some pool chemicals, but this could be easily replaced. It has a 12 disc CD player in the trunk, with a single disc in the console. The stereo system sounds great! This 2002 Pontiac Firebird holds a place in history. Although this car is not perfect, it is a car well worth putting a bit of money into. The fact that it was the last year the Firebird was ever made (along with a convertible top) make this a car which certainly reach collectible status and will likely increase value over time.
