I believe it is a nice value at the price we have it listed at ! Cars like this were quite a novelty in their day to say the least but now, in this kind of shape ? What a find! The Bug enthusiast should be pleased to own this BEAUTY. This is a Karmann convertible which they tell me means it was built in Germany and is the one to have. I drove this BEAUTY as my everday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you this car runs and drive well. I drove it to the office the other morning with the top down and can see why these cars are so loved by their owners, TO FUN !! It also does well on the freeway at highway speeds and still retains its fuel injection system which is correct for this year. If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself you won't be disapointed !!The car has what appears to be the smooth, original 1.6 liter Fuel Injected VW four cylinder motor in it and running well. We had a local mechanic look it over and he did a minor tune up on the engine including a valve adjustment so the car is ready to go for the new owner. It also has a smooth four speed manual gearbox which also functions well. The Burgundy Rose exterior paint is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with really little to no wear showing and is still bright and shiny and looks VERY NICE as you can see in the pictures. The White convertible top is in good condition and goes up and down easily as its supposed to do. The mostly ORIGINAL INTERIOR is also in nice condition with good ORIGINAL front bucket seats, NICE ORIGINAL rear bench seat, NICE black carpeting, good ORIGINAL steering wheel, NICE ORIGINAL door panels, NICE ORIGINAL White headliner and NICE period correct "Bug" aftermarket floor mats . In my opinion your not going to find a much nicer ORIGINAL INTERIOR than the one in this car, UNBELIEVABLE !! This Bug Convertible is nicely equipped including a brand new Clarion AM/FM stereo radio with CD / MP3 player with a detachable faceplate and nice aftermarket speaker's mounted in the front, Dual factory exterior mirrors, factory rear window defroster for the Glass rear window, good heater and defroster and good factory seat belts. This is a quality car that drives very well and is nice and tight. It is a really COOL little vehicle. The radial tires are are in good condition as are the chrome wheels with chrome Volkswagon hubcaps. The ORIGINAl chrome and stainless on this car is all good including NICE front and rear chrome bumpers. I looked underneath and also included photos below. This is a nice collector vehicle and it has plenty of good looks to boot ! This little 1975 Volkswagen "Karmann" Beetle Convertible is a real find ! I believe it is a nice value at the price we have it listed at ! Cars like this were quite a novelty in their day to say the least but now, in this kind of shape ? What a find! The Bug enthusiast should be pleased to own this BEAUTY. This is a Karmann convertible which they tell me means it was built in Germany and is the one to have. I drove this BEAUTY as my everday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you this car runs and drive well. I drove it to the office the other morning with the top down and can see why these cars are so loved by their owners, TO FUN !! It also does well on the freeway at highway speeds and still retains its fuel injection system which is correct for this year. If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself you won't be disapointed !!
The car has what appears to be the smooth, original 1.6 liter Fuel Injected VW four cylinder motor in it and running well. We had a local mechanic look it over and he did a minor tune up on the engine including a valve adjustment so the car is ready to go for the new owner. It also has a smooth four speed manual gearbox which also functions well. The Burgundy Rose exterior paint is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with really little to no wear showing and is still bright and shiny and looks VERY NICE as you can see in the pictures. The White convertible top is in good condition and goes up and down easily as its supposed to do. The mostly ORIGINAL INTERIOR is also in nice condition with good ORIGINAL front bucket seats, NICE ORIGINAL rear bench seat, NICE black carpeting, good ORIGINAL steering wheel, NICE ORIGINAL door panels, NICE ORIGINAL White headliner and NICE period correct "Bug" aftermarket floor mats . In my opinion your not going to find a much nicer ORIGINAL INTERIOR than the one in this car, UNBELIEVABLE !! This Bug Convertible is nicely equipped including a brand new Clarion AM/FM stereo radio with CD / MP3 player with a detachable faceplate and nice aftermarket speaker's mounted in the front, Dual factory exterior mirrors, factory rear window defroster for the Glass rear window, good heater and defroster and good factory seat belts. This is a quality car that drives very well and is nice and tight. It is a really COOL little vehicle. The radial tires are are in good condition as are the chrome wheels with chrome Volkswagon hubcaps. The ORIGINAl chrome and stainless on this car is all good including NICE front and rear chrome bumpers. I looked underneath and also included photos below. This is a nice collector vehicle and it has plenty of good looks to boot !
