Vehicle Detail

Very nice unmolested 1941 Cadillac Series 61, 4dr. Clean blue title. I would say it's a barn find but fact is it was sitting in a warehouse. Original from the flying lady on the front to the tail lights in the back. The only part that I see that is not there is one sun visor. Every piece of stainless and chrome is on the car. As you can see even has all 4 hubcaps. Change of fluids, wires, points, etc and it starts and runs off of a fuel can. Comes with fuel tank and fuel pump from the pictures. As you can see the exterior of the car is still the original factory black. The gray areas around the trunk are primer that was done as an experiment. Surface rust on the exterior but this car is amazingly solid on the outside. There appears to have been a leak around the windshield at some time in the distant past so I would guess it will need new floor pans. Frame is absolutely great as are the rockers. The interior of the trunk is shot and will need new metal put in. As you can see there is rust here and there but far from a basket case. All glass is good and windows roll up and down as they should. The key even locks/unlocks the door as it should. Interior of the car appears original as you can see and needs to be redone. Pre-war car that has a dealer Indentification Card showing delivery of 2-3-31. Obviously a typo since it was 1941. Lonestar Olds Cadillac in Dallas Texas shows as dealer. All previous owners appear to have lived in the Dallas area, so it seems it stayed right here all it's life. Thanks for looking.
