This Cadillac has been in indoor storage for over 60 years. It is the rare 5 passenger coupe. This car sold new for around $4,000, which made it one of the most expensive Cadillac models that year. It has a V8 engine with a 3 speed transmission, and aluminum body. It has a very unique dual exhaust system. I believe this would be a fairly easy restoration. All of the wood in this car is in excellent condition, with no rot. Also, the roof is in excellent useable condition. The car seems to be very complete, except for a few minor missing items. It has the original interior that is all intact. From many years of storage, the motor is seized up, but the brakes, clutch and transmission seem to work fine. The car rolls easily. It will need new tires. It has the ventilating windshield. The car has some cracked window glass as you will see in the pictures. The car comes with a clear current Wisconsin title. The title shows that the car is a 1926 model, but upon research, I believe the car to be a 1924 according to the vin number. I was told that Cadillac came out with several models each year and each came out at a different time, and perhaps back in the 20's they used the vin number (2680) as the year(?) I am selling this car with no reserve and intend to sell it to the high bidder at the end of the auction. The buyer will be responsible for picking up the car, and I will assist in every way I can. Also, I will keep the car in safe indoor storage in my garage until the buyer can make arrangements. Again, please ask questions before bidding. On Aug-08-10 at 12:34:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I had an inquiry as to the condition of the wiring in the car. The wiring under the dash is in excellent original condition. It appears to have never been taken apart or altered. Also, the rest of the wiring in the car seems to be in very good useable condition.
