Vehicle Detail

This is a very well kept and unmolested Silverado Blazer that has been in Tucson, AZ it's whole life. Mileage on the Blazer is very low at 113k miles on the truck. This truck has changed hands within the Tucson police force for the past three owners. It has never been abused or off-roaded. The original 305 engine was replaced with a 350 crate motor at the end of May,2010 and has the remaining balance of the 12 month warranty in place. The upgrade was done professionally at a local shop here in Tucson. It has about 1k miles on the new motor. The new motor has stock 350 components and the cost was $2012.00. I have the receipt. Everything was put back to original in terms of external components such as exhaust, and such. All new belts, hoses, water pump and radiator was done at the same time. The original quadrajet carb was reinstalled and while it runs good, I think it will either need a rebuild soon or replaced out with a different carb set-up. The way it sits now it passes emissions. AC blows cold. The truck tracks straight and drives very nice. Brand new brakes/rotors on the front and it stops true and straight. I have the original spare tire set-up with a brand new BFG All-Terraine tire on the original rim, but I took it all off as I need access to the cargo area about 6 or 7 times a day and got tired of swinging it out of the way. All parts are there including bolts to reattach the spare if you so desire. Tires are near new with over 90% tread left. Transmission and all 4WD components work well. It does have the 4 speed automatic transmission. No smoking, leaking or burning oil. Runs quiet and smooth. Does not overheat at all even in the desert heat here in Tucson with the AC going. Interior is very clean with one small hole in the carpet in the rear on the tranny hump. I took a pic so you could see. Never been smoked in and always adult owned with no kids in the back. Back seat looks brand new. Cargo area shows minor staining but very clean overall. Front buckets were recoved by previous owner in a slightly different material than the original but it looks good and is in great shape. Dash mat is almost new and covers a cracked dash from the sun. There are a few small cracks in the windshield, but nothing that obscures your view so I have not bothered getting it replaced. It has a nice AM/FM stereo with CD player installed in factory location. Speakers were placed in factory slots, no drilling or cutting done. Sounds very good. All lights/gauges/doorlocks/windows/turn signals/horn work as they should. Cruise control is not working and I haven't looked into that as I never use it anyway. Paint has a nice patina to it, but still shines good and is very presentable. Best color combination chevy ever had in my opinion and it looks nice. Get thumbs up all the time. The top has never been off this Blazer and it has been mostly garaged. The entire truck is rust-free. No rust anywhere period. If you think you see anything that looks like rust in the pictures, let me know because there is none and I'll be happy to take additional pics to prove that. There are a few minor dings as would be expected in a 25 year old rig, but overall very straight and clean. The bottom of the passenger's door shows 3-4 minor dents that would be very fixable if desired, but it is hard to get them to show up on the pictures. It's not a show truck, but a very clean, nice and tight Blazer that has many years and miles left in her. Mechanically it needs nothing to get in and be a daily driver. I'm selling this locally as well for $4500 obo so I do reserve the right to end this auction at any time. As with any older vehicle, this one is being sold "as is" with no warrany expressed or implied. The winning bidder will need to send a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction with the balance due within 7 days.
